All of our Exotic drum sets are made with either Maple shells, Mahogany shells or Birch shells with the top veneer being the exotic veneer you pick. Each shell is hand picked to match in tone and then the veneers are applied. The lacquer finish on these High Gloss Exotic Drum Sets have a 12 step process. Each shell, after it is veneered goes through many sanding and lacquering stages and final buffing stages to get this finish. When you look at one of our Exotic High Gloss Drum Sets, it's like looking into a mirror. There is no grain it is all filled in and smooth.
As far as the sound these sets produce, they far beyond most sets on the market today. We have developed a tunning range on all of our shells to give you more than 3 tunning keys or ranges without any suffering and dead tones.
